Are the dyes used in carpets natural or synthetic?
Traditionally, natural dyes derived from plants, minerals and insects have been used. In modern times, however, high-quality synthetic dyes are often used as they offer a wider range of colours and better stability. High quality carpets still often use natural dyes for their unique shades.
